I had the exact same problem about 2 years ago. It took me over a year of tinkering with it and then taking it to a shop to figure it out. It was a combonation of the decompression solenoid being out of adjustment and the kickstand switch going bad. The shop wired around the kickstand switch
and adjusted the solenoid, I haven't had a problem with it sense.
